Privacy Statement

Personal data collected for homoeopathy patients are:

  • Name, address, telephone number(s) and email address, so that I can contact you and send remedies.

  • Date of birth, to ensure treatment is age appropriate and to help understand health challenges.

  • Any information relating to your medical history, health challenges and treatments (past and current) that you choose to share, as part of the consultation process and to ensure the best remedy is prescribed for you

  • Detailed written notes on each consultation and prescribed treatments, to record the discussion, assist case analysis and to inform future treatments.


All homoeopathy case notes are stored for seven years following the last appointment and for children records are kept for seven years following the child’s 18th birthday. You may have a copy of your notes if you wish, although the originals must remain with the homoeopath. Under certain circumstances there may be requirement to share these notes with the police or the courts. This would only happen if there was a legal requirement to do so.

Personal data collected for yoga class attendees are:

  • Name, telephone number(s) and email address, so that I can contact you and to add you to my mailing list for termly newsletters and updates.

  • Name and contact details of an ‘emergency contact’ in case you become unwell during a class

  • Any information relating to your medical history that you choose to share, to aid class planning


Records of yoga class attendees are currently held for one year after the last class attended.


For both homoeopathy and yoga - you may ask to see a copy of your records at any time, by emailing Cathy Welch (cathywelchhom@gmail.com) and can request that your data is erased or amended.


None of your data will be shared with a third party unless you request it.

All data is stored securely in a locked, fireproof filing cabinet other than when it is in use during a class or consultation.
